After getting back from the AAG in San Francisco last week, this week I attended British Sociological Association’s Annual Conference. I gave a presentation on The Socio-Temporal Organisation of Energy Demanding Practices based on very initial empirical work from the Institutional Rhythms project in the Environment and Society stream, which was run by the BSA Climate Change Study Group. There were some really great presentations and some interesting discussions during and around the sessions too.
There were definitley a few interesting plenaries as well! This was the first time I had been to the BSA, but I really enjoyed it and plan to make it back next year. Especially seeing as it will be just down the road in Manchester!
